Location was good for getting up the mountain in the morning. Staff friendly. Room big and clean and comfortable.

The bathroom had been renovated but the rest of the room also needed to be updated, old furniture and a 1980's feel.

"We were pleased for lovely clean sheets and comfortable king size bed nice and close to the train."

Breakfast was basic, but covered most needs. The sheets were beautiful and clean. The location was very good and the staff were lovely.

The room we got was not as pictured. I thought we were getting a loft room as I have 2 grown boys (18 and 20). instead they were in small bunks. There was an awful (air freshener) smell throughout the hotel, and in the bedroom. The carpets were very old and needed replacing. The staircases were confusing and hopefully not a fire exit problem. My Husband and Son went down one set of stairs which lead to a set of stairs going up.
