Fundana Villas

Les Fundana Villas sont un lieu de vacances exceptionnel. Tout d'abord, le bâtiment est magnifique. Ancien moulin à huile, rénové en diverses chambres et dépendances surplombant une piscine de belles dimensions. Des films y ont été tournés, on y ressent une authenticité très agréable. Notre chambre était très agréable, avec un lit de belles dimensions. La possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner est proposée, mais tout le matériel est à disposition dans les kitchenettes des chambres pour manger chez soi si l'envie vous prend. Alex, le propriétaire, et sa famille sont charmants et aux petits soins. Une fois par semaine, la maman d'Alex prépare un repas délicieux pour les vacanciers qui le souhaitent. Le repas est pris sur la terrasse longeant le bâtiment et surplombant la vallée superbe. Ambiance hors du temps assurée. L'endroit accueille des familles et des adultes calmes. Les jeunes en recherche d'animations préféreront les hôtels côtiers. La situation dans l île est parfaite : poche de.villages charmants (Gardales - Doukades) et de villages de bords de mer (Paleokastritsa et d autres) tout en étant à 25min de l aéroport de Corfou. Au bord de la piscine, possibilité de petite restauration rapide et petit verre toute la journée. Bref, séjour enchanteur, cadre enchanteur, personnel adorable!

Une petite suggestion pour les années à venir, dans les chambres donnant plein soleil, prévoir une petite structure supplémentaire pour créer de l'ombre de grand matin, le soleil était si fort qu'il était difficile de rester devant notre chambre pour manger. Cela étant, le domaine regorge de petits recoins où s installer à l ombre, donc cela n a pas été un grand problème !

Ottima piscina, struttura posizionata in mezzo alla natura, ottima posizione per paleokastritsa, agios Giorgio's, ecc. Serve ovviamente la macchina o il motorino ma la struttura ripaga con la quiete, la natura e il panorama. Raccomando.

La casa all'interno è abbastanza calda, vanno sfruttate le pale e l'aria condizionata.

Modern and well appointed 3 bedroom villa . 3 bathrooms - all with large showers . Very good wifi - keeps the teenagers happy !! Dishwasher & washing machine very useful . The villa was very private - lovely pool which was maintained & cleaned regularly during our stay. We had the Fundana hotel facilities available to us , including the beach bar , beach towel rental & items which were free to borrow ( including pool floats , board games ). Alex the manager was available to help with suggestions, including helping book our private boat rental from the nearby village . The villa is rurally located with fantastic views , yet close to tourist attractions- took us approximately 25 minute to drive to Aqualand , 15 min from Palaiokastritsa and a short drive to large supermarkets & Tavernas .

All was excellent . No dislikes.

The hotel setting was exceptional. We were truly disconnected from everyday life. The entire staff is extremely pleasant, there is a real family atmosphere. Everyone is very accommodating and does their best to ensure you have the best possible stay in Corfu. I will come back without hesitation.

This location is absolutely breathtaking, set high up overlooking stunning landscape views to the East and West. The main building was previously used for olive producing in previous generations and still retains some of its history, including a large olive press in the main reception. The host, Alex, was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to visit. Chilled drinks and wine are available in reception, which you can help yourself to anytime with honesty policy. The self-contained room was adequate but very quaint and cosy, with a private outdoor seating area and yards away from the pool with amazing views. We even had a private parking space away from the main reception. Plenty of grounds to explore containing olive, orange, lemon, and plum trees, with a lovely spot to watch the sunset. It could do with some modernisation but would be a lovely venue for a small wedding.

It's always a nice touch to have at least a bottle of chilled water in the fridge and cleaning products for the kitchen.

Amazing setting. Rooms clean, an excellent pool area. Alex could not have been more helpful. For a place to relax and unwind we thought it a great choice. We loved that it’s close to everything. A car necessary, and we found it a bit tricky finding the property in the dark as Google maps doesn’t take you to the front door.

Incredibly beautiful scenic property to wake up in and come back to each day. We didn't want to leave! Clean and well-managed. Alex the owner was always friendly and helpful, and quick to tackle any question raised.

Positives first. On arrival at Fundana villas, we were pleased to see a truly beautiful, old building, and the scenery around it was breathtaking. This was a very good start. We liked its location, and were not disappointed by much at all. At first.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of downsides to this place and it's important to know what they are. For clarity, we rented two self-catering apartments for this holiday. One two bed apt for myself, my partner, and our daughter, and a separate one bed apt for my mum. If you'd like to know what apartment you're getting, I suggest you contact the property because the photos are not necessarily what you'll get - albeit, ours were in the style of. Access - the info states accessible, so we did not check. Both our apartments were up either extremely steep indoor steps, or rocky and unstable outside steps. If you need easy access (as my mum did), this place isn't for you. Especially considering the pool is also accessed by rocky/uneven steps Our rooms: In general, they were nicely decorated, but dark. Bedrooms - bedrooms were large and reasonably spacious. However, they are also in need of TLC and dark. Beds were very comfy. TV - tiny and old, with barely any channels, and what there is is mostly European. I found one English station. Kitchen - the kitchen area is woefully underequipped, with minimal bendy cutlery, very few pans, non existent cooker and microwave (despite the site saying there were both) and a small two plate hob. There is also no workspace, so preparing anything is difficult. Lounge area - there wasn't any. This was our main problem. The site and listings suggested there was by stating a comfortable sofa and showing certain images at certain angles. So let me be clear, there was simply a bench in the kitchenette area around a table in our apartment, and not even that in my mums.. It wasn't comfortable. I am an early bird, and all other people with me like to lie in, so when I woke the only place I had to go to was the kitchen bench. I couldn't even use the balconies (I use that term loosely), because they were both off the bedrooms. This wasn't a space for families.
