Pool was very very very nice! Staff is super friendly and responsive! L’Occitaine amenities - it’s from that region - always liked the brand, now I feel the connection. Beds are oh so comfortable!

Internet was really spotty and inconsistent - really an issue. Given that o had to go to the lobby to get a good internet connection to complete a work task, I felt a little put out when I was charged for the cup of coffee that the staff brought me - I understand, but that would’ve been a nice way of expressing empathy.

Cap de Castel is a charming medieval distillery converted to a contemporary hotel; it works really well. The hotel is owned and run by David, who is the perfect host for whom nothing is too much trouble. The rustic rooms are huge, clean and well equipped. Dinner was superb. I cannot recommend Cap de Castel highly enough.
