it’s a good location for visiting Varese area

very dated decor straight out of 1980s needs renovation but it had full occupancy with tradespeople so I guess price is what matters

I travelled by car from The Netherlands to Italy with my wife and two children and had a night over at La Fontana. It’s about 20 km from the highway and has free parking for customers. The room was very big and had air-conditioning, plus a separate bathroom with shower; this was the triple room where they added an extra bed for Eur 15,-.

The location is a bit remote and takes some driving. The hotel is nearby a busy noisy road. The room should need some renovation.

Nothing special about this motel. Beds was quite uncomfortable and the climate equipment was extremely loud, which all come together resulted in a bad night sleep. Also for the second night.
