When booking a bed in a dormitory room, please indicate your gender, as the dormitory rooms are single-sex rooms. Please note that the hotel's private parking spaces are limited. If you are not a member of Hosteling International (HI), you must purchase a membership card upon arrival at the hostel. The card costs €3.50 per night. German residents aged 26 and under must become members of the German Youth Hostel Association (DJH) for €7 per year / €3.50 for six months. Older guests and families pay €22.50 per year / €11.50 for six months. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Tolle Unterkunft in guter Lage - Absolut klasse Frühstück"

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in Topp Lage in Deutz - Zimmer sehr schön - Super Frühstück. Wir konnten unsere Fahrräder sicher über Nacht in einem Fahrradkeller unterstellen. Das war prima! Zimmer mit bezogenen Betten und Fernseher. War natürlich ein absoluter Luxus.

Mittlerweile sind die Preise für ein DZ mit Frühstück absolut auf Hotel Niveau angekommen. Da ist für uns auf rustikaler Radtour die Frage, ob wir nicht anstatt DJH ein Hotel wählen.... Ich fände es schön, wenn weiter auch einfachere Zimmer angeboten werden würden, dafür aber etwas günstiger (ein Fernseher auf dem Zimmer ist für uns nicht notwendig und das Bette können wir selbst beziehen).

Die Unterkunft war perfekt gelegen! Das Haus bricht mit alten Herbergs-Klischees: Es bietet ein unkompliziertes Einchecken, ein schönes Design, eine ansprechende Außenanlage sowie sehr saubere Zimmer. Auch die Bäder sind absolut sauber und gut in Schuss. Trotz der zentralen Lage wohnt man hier in einer sehr schönen und ruhigen Umgebung zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Die Jugendherberge bietet zudem eine ausgezeichnete Lage für Spaziergänge in der Umgebung und für Besuche in Köln, der Lanxess Arena und der Koelnmesse. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

it was near the train station so it made it easier for me to travel around, also near Lanxess arena which i had gone to for a concert

they dont take card when buying stuffs at night, make sure to prepare or have some cash money on you
