Vineyard Cottages

Absolutely child unfriendly but otherwise just average. Surroundings of the cottage itself was clean and beautiful.

Had a great stay at Vineyard Cottages. There were 4 of us and the cottage was well equipped with 2 queen beds and a single. It was clean and comfortable. We had a delicious lunch with friends at the property, the food was great and breakfast the next morning was delicious and very generous portions. We will be definitely be staying here again in the near future.

The cottages are located in a lovely garden environment, with enough distance between each cottage to give a sense of privacy. It was a very quiet location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We also had a great meal in the onsite restaurant. We did have an issue with the consistency of the hot water (seemed to come and go) but that was the only complaint.

The accommodation is excellent and the restaurant is great but it is expensive.

While I understand many couple visit Vineyard Cottages for a romantic getaway - it was also the perfect spot for our family (3 kids) to stay while exploring Girraween National Park. The rooms were so comfy, we had the ability to make toast, have cereal ect in our room or eat at the restaurant - which we did both evenings. The kids meals were great and my kids loved the puzzles and games in the lounge and the communal fireplace. We would definitely stay again.

Found this accom very expensive for what was offered. Visit this area every year and can understand why this was still available at the time. Disappointed.

Despite the region's reputation, a 'quality' place to stay wasn't obvious. The Vineyard delivered on its promise. Hosts Penny and John appear to genuinely enjoy making you welcome and comfortable. Cottages (at least those set back from the highway) are quiet and very comfortable. The restaurant is also excellent (as are a couple of others within a 'stones throw'.

Cottages private, close to the highway. Dated rooms, with old fashioned furniture and decor. Restaurant food a bit hit and miss. Experience OK on the whole

We had a wonderful stay. The cottages were in a great spot for visiting the Ballandean wineries. The rooms were well equipped & warm and the owners were very welcoming. The on site restaurant was fantastic.

Really great feel to the place - friendly and helpful managers/owners - good food and close to the wineries. The cottages are quaint, a little dated but very comfortable.
