Hotel Casablanca ( van Gitalcover) beantwoordde totaal aan mijn verwachtingen. Ideaal gelegen in het hart van Granada. Een redelijke ruimte met een schone badkamer, een lift is in het hotel aanwezig. geen lawaai van buiten. Uitzicht op een witte muur, geen stuk hemel te zien. Ok; géén airco! Dat kan voor veel mensen een probleem zijn want het was 's nachts nog 27 graden. Maar ja, als je en goede slaper bent en je kunt tegen de hitte dan is €28,50 per nacht toch wel heel plezierig! Ik heb geen ontbijt genomen. Het hotelpersoneel was vriendelijk en sprak zowaar redelijk Engels.

The location was central but very difficult to access with a car and the only nearby car park charged 20 Euros per day. The room we were given was on the ground floor, opening onto a very small fully enclosed yard, and was hot and airless, with noisy and ineffective air conditioning. It wasn't expensive but we should have known better and after one night of very little sleep we moved on to somewhere only slightly dearer and far more pleasant in every respect. Maybe some other rooms are a lot better, but we had booked well in advance for a four-night stay so we should not have been allocated one of their worst rooms.

Hôtel idéalement bien situé, à la hauteur de la rue principale, 5 min à pied du centre. Un parking souterrain à 2 min avec réduction si l'on vient d'un hôtel, mais il reste chère ! En même temps pas bcp de possibilité de se garrer. Hôtel conçu bizarrement : 2 hôtels en un avec deux entrées de part et d'autre. Petit déj correct sans plus mais prix résonnable. Personnel agréable et souriant dans l'ensemble. Chambre et salle de bain propres et confortables. Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits et la deuxième a été mémorable : nos voisins d'à côté ont été particulièrement bruyant. Ca a commencé vers 22h30 par une partie de jambe en l'air, suivi d'une visite d'amis. Et ça criait, rigolait, fumait (l'odeur venait jusqu'à notre chambre) alors que c'est un hôtel non fumeur. Impossible de dormir. Nous avons tapé plusieurs fois contre le mur, d'autres voisins ont frappé à leur porte. Rien y fait. Nous sommes allés nous plaindre auprès du réceptionniste qui leur a simplement dit qu'il est interdit de fumer !!! Ensuite, nos chers voisins ont mis la musique à fond jusqu'à 4 h du matin. Le réceptionniste leur a demandé cette fois de faire moins de bruit. Le lendemain, nous nous sommes de nouveau plaints et avons demandé de changer de chambre. Heureusement nos supers voisins partaient. Ce que nous reprochons au personnel est qu'il n'a pas agit comme il aurait dû faire. Malgré l'absence de bars et restos dans les deux rues de l'hôtels, ça reste très bruyant dehors comme dedans.

Nice hotel, center of town, close to everything.

It has everything you need for a good night sleep. Ideal for people who want to spend the day touring granada. Great location. You can walk to the majority of sites from the hotel. Restaurants and coffee shops near by.

Basic hotel with a good sized room. Some small gripes: remote control for the TV was only available with a refundable deposit, AC temperature cannot be controlled without calling the front desk (only on/off and fan speed switch was available), there is no reception at Alcover (it's located around the corner at Hotel Casablanca), and basic amenities (no toothpaste/bar soap/shaving kit etc available; only liquid soap; shower is a stool with a handheld nozzle; they'll hold luggage for a small fee after checkout). Wifi was available and fast. The room was tidy, but my bed had a bunch of hairs in it that were not mine, though I didn't complain so I don't know how they would have handled it. Despite my room being on the first floor, it was pleasantly quiet. Reception spoke English well. Location was easy to find on a quiet side street about a 7-8 minute walk from the Cathedral in the center of the city. Overall, at the right price, it's great, but it's definitely a budget hotel.

Very well and centrally located. There wasn't any parking with the hotel, but there was an underground car park round the corner and with enough looking it was possible to park for free - although you'll need to be patient and go around the block a few times! The street location was actually very quiet, considering the location. The only noise problem we had was that the other guests staying in the hotel were very loud when coming back at 3am and 5am each night we were there, but that may have something to do with it being a bank holiday the weekend we were there. We had a very warm welcome when we arrived, and were given a map of the area etc. The room was very clean, looked like it had only been recently re-furbished, and looked just like the photo on the website. Our room tided and we were given clean towels each day. The deal we had didn't include breakfast, but there were many options within a very short walk.
