Pathpoint Cologne Backpacker Hostel

The property is centrally located near the Hauptbahnhof in Cologne which is great those looking to explore the city or who are traveling. The rooms themselves were well up-kept. Everything extra that was needed (blanket, pillow, sheets) were provided and a towel was rentable (€6 total, €1 fee, €5 pfand). The property’s kitchen and ‘lounge area’ were also well maintained. If you are looking to cook, the kitchen seems to be a great space and is quite large. The ‘lounge’ area has vending machines (for drinks and snacks) and a foosball table (kickertisch). In regards to the sleeping experience- you get what you pay for. The bed was doable, but don’t expect luxury. All around, this was a great stay and very affordable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a short stay in Cologne.

一人旅の宿泊先として一日滞在。部屋は8人部屋、2段ベットの上が就寝するベットでした。まず受付スタッフは自分が英語も喋れないのに、とても親切でジェスチャーでいろいろと伝えてくれた。 部屋にもスーツケースが入るロッカーも完備されており不自由ない。ただ唯一気になったのが同じ部屋の他人のいびきや、朝早く出発する人の荷造りの音、安いから我慢はできるが。

部屋が狭かった。次はほかのホテルに住もうと思う。

駅から近く、ケルン観光の目玉でもあるケルン大聖堂も駅を抜けてすぐなので、とても観光に便利なロケーションのホステルです。 女性専用８人部屋を利用しました。部屋の中にトイレとバスルームが別々にあるのも良かったです。少し大変だった点は、早くチェックインしたので部屋がまだ用意されておらず、スーツケースを預けた時、荷物を置く部屋が地下にあったので、持ち運びが大変でした。２階にある部屋までもエレベーターがないので（エレベーターがあるホステルは少数だとは思いますが）荷物の持ち運びに少し苦労しました。同室で話した方は、ホステルのスタッフの方が部屋まで荷物を運んでくれたと言ってたので、頼めば部屋まで荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくれるとは思います。 キッチンも広々としており、チェックインの時、国籍を聞かれその国籍に対応したケルンの地図をくれたのが、いい印象として残っています。１泊しかしていませんでしたが、もっと泊まりたいと 思えるホステルでした。

Had an amazing experience staying here. It was walkable from central station and was very near to all the major attractions in the city. It was very neat and the staff was so friendly.
