Really enjoyed the pink-ness of our room. We had a fabulous large room with a pink bathroom at the front with with a river view. Pink bathrooms are quite unusual now in northern European minimalist hotels but this one upholds traditions and is a bit quirky. The ceiling in the breakfast room is traditional.

Nothing. The location was excellent on the river front with plenty of parking close by. There is a paid for car park across the road (costs around €9) but there is also free parking up by the hospital Ship. There was a medieval festival going on with market stalls

Hotel Jardim was een uitstekende keuze om daar mijn rustdag door te brengen, net aan de rand van de stad en bij de rivier. Een goede en fijne uitvalsbasis voor diverse attracties en eetgelegenheden. Dicht bij de hoofdstraat en het oude centrum met zijn gezellige winkeltjes, waarbij je een keus te over hebt. Ook de verzorging in het hotel was uitstekend, waarbij het uitgebreide ontbijt een welkome verrassing was. Alsmede de voorzieningen, goed verzorgde en zeer nette badkamer, met vriendelijke receptionisten.

Miste, jammer genoeg, de mogelijkheid van een kopje koffie of thee op de kamer. Daar dit hotel verder geen mogelijkheden bied om iets drinkbaars te nuttigen (in het bijzonder als het erg warm is).
