Hotel Jardim Viana do Castelo

The room was clean and very charming. The staff was helpful, and provided an umbrella when it rained. They were always polite and pleasant.

The shower sprayed beyond the glass wall, wetting most of the bathroom floor, making the tile very slick. (I did soak it up, though).

We liked just about everything about our stay at this hotel- the friendly staff, excellent central location, condition of the room, balcony and view, elevator, nearby free parking (by Gil Eannes ship), though it should be noted that it's a well maintained retro hotel that's suspended in the 1960s(s). If you don't appreciate that, you may not be happy here.

Given that it is an old hotel, the TV is very small and there is a lack of power outlets.

Fulfilling and tasty.
