Very nice stay at sandcastle apartments. Nice apartment, and not to far from town. We hope to be back some day!

Very comfortable, clean room. Good kitchen. Kind owner family. Winter time, I felt really cold there is no heating facility. I guess Summer is fully cool to stay there.

As a self-catering option, Sandcastle Apartments is great. The apartment was set up with the required basics, and within walking distance of several supermarkets (assuming you are OK with walking for 30-40 minutes). The activities / tour companies I dealt with all knew where the apartments are located. Silke, the owner, is very helpful and yet unobtrusive and lets you get on with your vacation. Easy access to the beach is a plus.

We were very happy with the accommodation. We appreciated the free Wi Fi. The location was very good and only two blocks from the sea. Security was also good.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Zimmer und die Außenanlage war sehr gut. Der Weg zum Strand ist nur wenige Schritte weit von dort kommt man in ca 10-15 Minuten in die Innstadt. Die Gegend und der Weg in die Stadt vermittelt zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit eine Sichere Umgebung. Das Auto steht innerhalb des Sicherheitsbereiches, was uns sehr wichtig war, da wir nicht alles ausräumen wollten. Die Umgebung ist zudem sehr ruhig.

My apartment let out onto a communal terrace area but I had my own table, parasol etc. The apartments are big and well equipped.

For those wanting a self-catering option, this is a great choice of accommodation. The beach is a short walk away, and if you are reasonably energetic the main "centre" of town is a 15-30 minute walk away. All the tour companies I dealt with knew exactly where it was. On arrival, I was given a very warm welcome and a comprehensive orientation to where things are in Swakopmund. Security is taken very seriously. The entire accommodation is well maintained. I had a relaxed time, and would look to book here again if (and hopefully when) I return to Swakopmund.
