The Serenity Hua Hin

We are a family with young children staying for one night. This hotel has a big pool that is not for young kids at all. If you have young kids skip this place. I felt like the hotel was not designed for a family with young kids. The pool doesn’t look clean enough to me either. This place didn’t have enough staff to clean the hotel ground at all. The ground looked dirty with some dog feces too. This was so disgusting!! Breakfast was okay. This place needs more staff to clean the ground and a parking area. My young kids and I walked to the beach but the beach was so rocky. The beach is accessible to public if you walk to the end of Hua Hin soi 5 according to the hotel staff. However, it was almost inaccessible to me because the stairs down to the beach were way too steep. They didn’t even reach the bottom of the beach either. You have to jump down. It is not safe at all. I also saw a possibly a drug addicted man at the deserted area nearby. I didn’t feel safe walking in this area at all. It is very scary. I don’t recommend wasting your time and possibly life walking to this rocky beach.

The hotel was very morning more than it was it was very quiet very clean the hotel was near everything it was in walking distance of great restaurants and I really enjoyed my stay The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating

I read a lot of bad reviews and was prepared for the worst but it was fantastic. I didnt encounter any problems and everyone was helpful and friendly. The shower wall could be longer but otherwise everything was great.

Hotel is in a perfect location. A lot of good restaurants close to the hotel. All Staff we came in contact with were friendly. They have good coffee in the guest lounge. Would be nice if they offer free breakfast.

The hotel is located closed main road and near pub, bar , and local restaurants. Good Service, big room and Special price^^ Pool Access Room is very big and clean. But the bathroom so small ><. For foods ... yummy!! Don’t miss if you stay here.

Big pool, spacious room. However toilet in the room had some unpleasant smell but we got used to it by the end of it. Breakfast was a flop though. One star off for the breakfast. Please improve on that.

Read good reviews on here so booked 8 nights. I have a bad hip and found it impossible to get into the pool. There was a helpful man there who spoke English. He said he would try and fix a rail to the steps but we changed rooms to pool access. This was still difficult but better. The pool itself wasn't very clean and there were lots of leaves floating in it. We asked someone to put the parasols up which she did but they were all bent and torn. No sunbeds just a mat on decking with a wooden sloped board for your back. There were towels for the pool. The room was fine and big enough. The bathroom shower overflowed into the bathroom as it couldn't drain away properly. Rooms were made up nicely and we were happy with the cleaning. The breakfast was awful if you wanted European. Eggs that had been there a while. And jam and marmalade with the lids off. I watched ants crawl round. I asked why it wasn't covered and was told that people don't use it otherwise ??. There were ants under the milk jug and the sugar bowl was in a bowl of water to stop the ants reaching it. I only ever had an egg in toast preferring to go the The Baguette over the road which served lovely food. From about 10pm there were band playing at a club next door. This could go on until 1am. I found it totally unacceptable and Hated sitting on the balcony. It really was awful music. During the day there was building work going on opposite the rooms in another hotel. We walked down a road next to hotel and found a derelict bit of beach with an abandoned building. The hotel was also on the main Hua Hin road so very noisy. Best but was massage place next door where a man did wonders for my back with a therapeutic massage for 500 BAHT. He was brilliant. So glad we had a car to escape. Most staff sit on phones all day. Moved on now to Cha Am hurrah.
