The room was fantastic, great water pressure, could use a full length mirror on the back of the door. Location was perfect. Everything's right on that intersection...pub, restaurants, bottleO, cafes, parking. 👌

"Super hotel. "

Lovely hotel in a super neighbourhood. Owner Jesse was very helpful. We arrived early morning after a 24 hour flight and a hot journey from the airport. He provided a shower room so that we could freshen-up as our room was being prepped. A nice bottle of wine and box of chocs was in the room for us when the room was ready for us. A lovely touch- thank you.

Visiting friends. Hotel was in an ideal location for everywhere. Common space decor not to my taste. But the room was perfect for me and the staff couldn't be nicer.

We had a great time staying in the Medusa, a mid-19th century building in the vibrant Darlinghurst section of Sydney. There are countless restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance, and the Kings Cross station is only 400 meters away. The Central train station is further but still easy cycling or walking distance. The room was comfortable and large: a great deal for the price. The building is very old, so has far more character than most modern hotels, and has a nice common room near the entrance. The host is super-friendly as well. I'd definitely stay here again.

Although the rooms are small they are well designed (e.g. a functional and well-equipped kitchen within a cupboard) and comfortable. Staff were friendly and willing to do the extra to make guests welcome. Plenty of eating places nearby. A pleasant change from the chain hotels.
