La Fregate Hotel

Small but well apointed room with a great veiw. Excellent helpfull staff throughout - I arrived early on the 6am ferry and the security man at the hotel could not have been more helpful. The hotel made my room available at 11am which was great. Hotel is located close to the centre of St Peter Port - walkable to the ferry for example.

Small issue with noise from the pub down the hill which on the Friday night became very noisy with people drinking outside.

I absolutely loved my room with its large deck overlooking the city and harbor! It was also very nice to enjoy the breeze up there on a hot day. The staff were all very kind and attentive. The breakfast was delicious. I would most definitely stay at La Fregate again !

I only had two small issues -- 1. The wifi was unreliable, but the concierge let me use her phone as a hotspot for my online meeting (very kind); and 2. The heat valve on the towel rack was broken, so there was no way to shut off the heat in the bathroom. It was very hot in there, but neither issue would prevent me from staying there again. It is a wonderful hotel with lots of charm!

Beautiful setting with fabulous views and my room was very comfortable with absolutely everything I needed. This was a base for me and it more than suited my purpose.

dinner menu very uninspiring and bit dated, had a caesar salad which was nice but pretty small for the money

Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme. Vue sur la baie et la ville de Saint Peter. J'ai eu la chance de payer la chambre au même prix que les autres hôtels sur Guernesey alors qu'il est d'un niveau de qualité bien supérieur.
