I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely guest house. The hosts were so welcoming, nothing too much trouble; I appreciated the relaxing, calm atmosphere of the accommodation itself and also the peaceful location. Everything was clean to the highest standard (always my bigget worry when booking somewhere new!), the breakfast was lovely and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the island.

"Good"

4.0

Overall the property location was good. However the room itself was very small. I am 5,6 and it felt like it was very claustrophobic. The double bed was very small and my feel fully stretched came off the end. The breakfast at the guest house was good and was prompt, however it is only served from 8.30-9.15 which is a small window. The en-suite toilet was also very small and made a loud noise when using the taps/flushing. I later found out this was because a water pump system was used which led to the pump making noise. The rooms were cleaned well ever day but unfortunately the toilet rolls and water was not which was difficult after the first day. We purchased a 2L bottle of water from the supermarket to get by. The surrounding area was nice and only a short walk to the beach, however note that after dark it is very difficult to navigate to the beach as there are a lot of winding and very steep steps. It can be potentially dangerous. The only other way to access the beach after dark is to take the longer and more safer route (20 mins walk). Overall I loved the Isle of Wight but would probably choose to stay elsewhere if I returned.
