It was at a great location from the center. The breakfast was great and the receptionist was very helpful.

I wish we could control the temperature in our rooms.

The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is large and very filling - it was delicious too. The location is great, just a short walk from the main park with the beautiful cathedral. I could walk to most places. Lovely staff.

It can get a little loud at times. Also the bedroom window opens to the common area so you end up closing the blinds all day.

The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk to most everything we wanted to see. All of the employees who work at the hotel, who we came in contact with were great and they did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. There was plenty of hot water for our morning showers and the breakfast we were served each morning was the absolute best in all of our travels in Ecuador.

I had requested a room on the ground floor shortly after making our reservations because I'm 73 and my wife is 69 and she has recurring leg pain and I didn't want her to have to go up and down stairs. I never received an answer from the hotel about my request and when we checked in we discovered our room was on the top floor of the hotel. It bothered me that the hotel responded immediately when I requested a slightly early check-in time but they never responded to my request for a room on the ground floor. The shower was missing one of the sliding glass doors which created a puddle of water on the floor and the cold air in the morning from the missing shower door made for uncomfortable showers. One night we went out to dinner and it rained while we were gone and when we came back to our room we discovered a big puddle of water on the floor in the bathroom from rain entering through two holes in the ceiling.

We arrived earlier than we expected after a 12+ hour bus ride from Cotacachi, were graciously allowed early check in and really appreciated it as we were both dead beat. We will be sure to stay there again on our next trip to Cuenca.

Everything was quite good.

Convenient location close to restaurants. Pleasant, helpful staff. We stopped off for a night to break our bus trip from Loja to Guayaquil.
