Perfect location, very central yet quiet. Great hosts with lots of knowledge about the area and the Island. We were looked after very well, breakfast was superb! Would highly recommended.

Everything, especially Claire & Bos. They're a lovely couple and we're very friendly and welcoming and if you want any info on the island they will help you. The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable and breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked. We will definitely stay at the Braemar again.

The Braemar is a lovely hotel, efficiently ran by Claire & Boz who are super friendly and helpful. The rooms have everything you will need and are very comfortable and well kept. The bar & games room is a great addition although it was locked and closed by the time we had returned in the evening. Breakfast couldn't be faulted, a great choice, well presented and cooked perfectly . . thoroughly recommend the Braemar to anyone who is looking for a stay in Shanklin.

As the local pubs closed around 23:00 it would have been nice to have a nightcap and maybe a game of pool on the games room, but it was closed each evening on or return to the hotel.
