Good location as a stop off for us. Staff friendly and approachable. rooms and decor were good. Food was excellent. overall very good value for money. will stay here again if in this area.

Two rooms had to share a bathroom but I was aware of this when booking so no big deal.

Ideal location, really nice food, decor and friendly locals and staff.

Only thing let the place down was the shower was faulty, little pressure and kept switching between red hot or cold

It is a small country inn, located very close to, but not on the A9, serving as an excellent stop off point on our journey home to the Western Isles. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and are warmly to be recommended to be running such a lovely hotel.

This will lie in the nature of the historic building, but access to the rooms upstairs is via a short spiral staircase. Perfectly manageable for most people, but required a bit more careful negotiation for my elderly father.

I had a fantastic stay at the Bankfoot Inn while visiting for the Etape Caledonia cycling race. It’s an amazing historical pub with a cozy, family atmosphere that made the whole experience even more special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and did everything they could to make my stay comfortable and relaxing. I stayed in the single room, which had everything I needed, and the bed was comfy - exactly what I needed before the race. A perfect place to stay in the Highlands, with great hospitality and character. I would definitely recommend it!
