Castle Hotel

I liked the character of this fine 18th century Inn, Good room at the top of the stairs cutting down on walking about. Good range of stock at the bar. Friendly helpful staff.

Despite being the first of our group down for breakfast, I was last to be served, being a slow eater I raised this concern but the same thing happed again next day.

Loved the room again! Very big comfy bed.

The breakfast wasn't very nice this time.

The understanding, compassion and flexibility of the management. The management were extremely understanding and compassionate - we booked 25th to 27th as Mum was at end of life. An example of the way the staff helped us was how we were allowed us to delay our checkout.
