An iron in the room would have been handy but we managed without one. Later checkout would also have been nice as 10am after a long day at a wedding was a bit early

GBWe chose to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary at this lovely Inn as it was about an hour away from our home and we were able to bring our 11 old spaniel to stay with us. We stayed in the Hedgehog room which was delightful, a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast in house. There was a good menu on both occasions and the food was well presented and delicious. A special shout out to all the staff who made us feel very welcome and did a wonderful job of looking after us.
The WiFi didn’t work in the room but for a one night stay that was okay.
GBThe hotel was characterful and cosy without being too bouji and chain-like. It was spotless, the room and the public areas were well-laid out and comfortable. We ate dinner in the pub (vegetarian burger) and it was verybtasty and a there was a good selection of different types of food. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The staff were amazing - welcoming and friendly at all times.
