GBWe had such a lovely stay at The Bell in Rickinghall! The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the vibe cosy and welcoming, and the staff were charming and helpful. Breakfast? A proper full English that hit the spot perfectly. Dinner was spot on too. One of the best fish ‘n’ chips we’ve had. Our dog was over the moon, and we actually fell asleep to the gentle pub sounds — which says a lot, as we’re usually used to complete silence! Delicious food, happy pooch, comfy bed, and lovely staff — we can’t recommend it enough!
The only tiny hiccup was the bathroom in the Stag room — a bit snug — but we’ve already booked for next year in a twin room in the newer part of the building, so we’re excited to return.

Our room was a little noisy and echoey from the pub below. To be expected from a pub stay however, and peaceful from closure time.
