Bela Vista Hotel & Spa - Relais & Chateaux

Although the hotel is located right in the heart of the bustling beach strip it did not feel that way. Nice to have access to restaurants, etc right out the gate but it felt more remote, thank goodness. Staff was amazing, so friendly and accommodating.

Top notch service at this beautiful hotel. Everyone really worked to make the entire time spent there special and comfortable. The restaurant is also AMAZING! It is expensive, but a once in a lifetime experience. The location on the beach is incredible. It is in a sort of "cheesy" location, but once you are behind the gates that all goes away!

Immaculately clean and impeccable service. Food was also excellent. Very personalized check in experience, the view of the beach was also great! We came just my wife and I, not sure how it would be with kids but we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend to anyone. The staff were so attentive and helped in every way possible The food was exceptional as were the cocktails Our sea view from our room was beautiful Only downside was there was no hot water on our last day and the cleaners didn’t replace the facecloths that we used on the first day Overall we had a fabulous time here

Visited the area with a bicycle tour group. Great service and location. Gated hotel. Very luxurious feel. Right on the beach. Beautiful location. Room was comfortable and spacious and clean, with porch facing the ocean. Breakfast and dinner delicious. Convenient location. Access to many restaurants and shopping and pharmacy.

Wonderful staff and excellent service. We enjoyed our three days at the Bela Vista Hotel and Spa. The hotel is such a convenient location with beautiful views of the beach, the ocean, and the surrounding cliffs. The history of the hotel was impressive and the buildings have been beautifully restored and maintained. We took advantage of the spa and treated ourselves to the use of the facilities, the talented staff, and the relaxing treatments. The hotel was in an excellent position for town and beach and of historical interest. A very minor observation - after showering the mirrors were steamed up. We informed the receptionist who told us that the ventilation was not an extractor fan. Steaming could also be avoided with heated mirrors.

Main building, beautiful. View and beach are gorgeous. Staff all delightful. Good housekeeping. Good breakfast. Our room in the new building was generic, not special at all. If it’s not beach weather, there’s little to do. We were there in March, but cold and rainy all days except 2.
