La Bastide du Port

The isntalations are clean and pleasant. It is infront of the sea, the ony problem is the address is not recognized by the google maps or the car navigator

This was our first trip to Saint-Tropez and only a one night stay (June 2019). Some family members had booked a hotel closer to the town center but there were no longer rooms available there. Not knowing the area, my wife and I opted for the La Bastide du Port with some trepidation. For some reason we were thinking it would be like an older Florida motel. However, that is not the case. We were pleasantly surprised. It's a nice hotel. We had a rental car and when we drove into Saint Tropez on a hot summer day, the traffic was crazy. Luckily the La Bastide du Port has a spacious car park. Check in was quick and the rooms were modern and spacious by European standards. Our room had a balcony that faced the back of the building but the view was still quite pleasant (palm trees and flowering shrubs). We walked to town center for dinner and it was a quick 15 minute walk (less than 1 mile). When we returned to the hotel around midnight, the staff on duty checked our keys to make sure we were guests. We appreciated that security. One minor downside: in the morning my wife and I opted to pay the €30 (€15 each) for breakfast. I wrongfully assumed that included hot breakfast. It did not. It was a basket of croissants and crusty bread and some coffee. Everything was fresh and tasty but that's not a good value at all. That said, we will definitely stay at La Bastide du Port when we return to Saint-Tropez

Comfortable, clean, close to town!

No air conditioning. Very hot room. Could not sleep. Very bad. Hotel did not want to turn the air conditioning

Staff was very accommodating and the reception desk personnel spoke English and staff was very helpful recommending restaurants. We would recommend to others, sea view was partially blocked by trees. Good location close to old town and gas station right across the street.

We did not like that the bath tub was clogged. Staff was very nice. We got free upgrade. Parking is excellent with lots of spaces.

Great location and fairly priced. We were very happy with our experience at this hotel!
