Breakfast was very good, with warm, polite staff in the kitchen. The kitchen staff were always ready to help, and they made our stay fun . The bed was okay, but it wasn't that comfy because the mattress felt hard and the bed coverings weren't fluffy enough. The room was good; the cleaners did a very good job, but the toilet pressure wasn't enough to flush poop.

"Away for work"

This was a 1-night stay for work. I was in room 220 which was a long walk from reception. Car park was free, but at the front of the hotel, filled up quickly. The room however was huge as was the ensuite. TV and Wifi okay. Decor a bit dated. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean, friendly staff.

Rang and requested a walk-in shower, and was informed every room had walk-in showers and no baths, but we had a shower over bath, reception confirmed only one walk-in shower room and it was booked. Apparently Best Western call centre doesn’t know about this hotel!

"Copdock for weekend in Ipswich"

Cheap overnight stay in a good location for Ipswich area.

So hot inside turned off heating and opened window but still baking hot all night. Room was above sauna.
