Westport Serviced Apartments

A great Apartment with superb access to local eateries and facilities

These apartments are absolutely fantastic. They are large, spacious, well equipped and the staff on reception were only too pleased to assist. The apartments are a short walk into Dundee's centre and has a conveniently placed Tesco metro store next door. We stayed in room 18, which also had a lovely view over the River Tay. We both had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these apartments to anyone looking to visit Dundee.

Have stayed in a number of hotels in Dundee over the past few years (Doubletree, MalMaison, Apex, Holiday Inn Express and the now defunct Hilton). Surprisingly availabuility is often a problem (city will really need to increase capacity before V&A opens) and that was the case this time - either fully booked or demand had pushed available rates up to levels that dont match the experience. So I decided to give an apartment a try - rate was a little high compared to a standard hotel room but the space provided significantly beat a junior or even full size suite. Modern, fully equiped living/ kitchen/ dining room, shower room with great pressure and separate bedroom plus balcony. 24/7 staffed reception (very polite and welcoming) brings it close to hotel levels of service. Right next door to a tesco express and within spitting distance of a selection of nice bars, a good restaurant and a couple of cafes. TVs in bedroom and living room. Free parking was not a problem with a voucher emailed on booking. Very clean and well maintained.

Travelling round Scotland visiting friends and relatives and a sight seeing and shopping trips

Great hotel and staff once I found the place. No building markings or street signs. Loves the room. Made use of the washer/dryer however could not find directions. Would recommend this place to others

Everything was really nice, comfortable bed and sofas great location, good free internet connection wish we could have stayed for more than 1 night.

The serviced apartments are well located with car parking to the rear. Casino next door and Tesco express below should you need anything. The 1 bed apartment is well designed and roomy. Comfortable bed, great power shower. Tea, coffee and water provided. Wi-fi essential for any travel trip is super fast 60mb connection speed 15mb upload. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will stay again. A great find.

I normally prefer to book hotel rooms as opposed to serviced apartments but was very satisified with the change this time. Only downside was that local cafes serving breakfast did not open until say 8am when a hotel would be serving breakfast much earlier. However, would go back again.

Exceeded my extremely high standards in all aspects; The staff were attentive and helpful. All questions I may have had were answered by the leaflet given on check-in. The room and building was modern, clean and well kept. The location is perfect as it is an extremely short walk to the centre of Dundee, but not to close that you hear any commotion outside which most towns have. The price of the apartments is extremely cheap for what you receive; could not recommend "Westport Serviced Apartments" enough and I am very much looking forward to my next stay there.
