Room was massive compared to where we normally stay.

Tv remote is a little worn a new one would help as have to guess a little to work it. Room 19 if that helps

Drill fire alarm going off at 6am no warning Staff member using a key card to just walk in at half 8 without knocking and before check-out time

Being in a room for disabled people but we did book at very short notice

The on site restaurant is good, not gourmet but good bar food, although it’s only open for tea until 8pm and it’s not open for breakfast

The room is basic beyond basic. Not even pictures on the wall, no niceties like cushions or lamps, plain magnolia decoration. Not very welcoming or homely, feels like you’re in a plain box with a bed and a desk. Tiny tv. You’d think they would supply a fridge since they don’t do breakfast so at least you could bring your own milk and have a decent cuppa in the morning. It’s pretty noisy too, not from external noise, as it’s set in the grounds of a golf course, but doors slamming and people walking around upstairs is loud enough to be woken up. I guess it’s ‘get what you pay for’ but I don’t think I’ll stay again, it’s all just a bit too cheap

Brown marks on the sides of the beds. We were given the wrong type of room we got a triple bed room instead of a double bed. And the bed and only available chair in the room was extremely uncomfortable.

Lovely staff and such a lovely area to stay in, facilities were great and a pleasure to stay
