Hotel Bayerischer Hof Starnberg

Stayed here for one night just to experience the town of Starnberg. Neat little town with some nice restaurants and shops. The Hotel was what I expected, great location, nice old time feel and the breakfast was excellent.

okay, however to expensive. breakfast should be a choice, not included. One can save money that way, no one eats that much. Loud and noisy because of the street and the train station. lake view is nice

Excellent stay - great location just steps from Starnburg Lake - wonderful people at reception desk. Room super clean and comfortable. Some parts of hotel are little worn, but is part of its charm.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel obviously needs work (there were timber props holding up the external balconies), but the upside are the spacious rooms and that feeling of experiencing a bygone era

Das Haus war angeblich ausgebucht, wir wohnten in einem Famileinzimmer, mit zwei Schlafräumen und einem Badezimmer. Die Ausstattung war sehr alt (Heizungen, Wandgestaltungen, Fenster, Badezimmerinterieur). Es war alles sauber. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und ist unseren Anforderungen gerecht geworden. Eine Katastrophe war der Parkplatz. Ich nannte ihn die "Starnberger Seenplatte" Bei Regenwetter war es schwierig trockenen Fußes irgendwo hinzugelangen. Wir sind jetzt am Gardasee, das Auto hat immer noch den grauen Parkplatzdreck. Das griechische Restaurant im Haus ist zu empfehlen, sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Angebot und schöne Atmösphäre. Für einen Zwei-Nächte-Aufenthalt als Zwischenstation war das Haus o.k.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage direkt am Bahnhof und in der Stadtmitte, das sehr hübsche Gebäude ist sehr Charmant. Leider ist das Hotel eher Mittelmass und würde eine Renovierung gut vertragen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht im Bay. Hof, würden aber immer gerne wiederkommen.

This hotel is good if you like to be brought back in time. The rooms are modern and clean complete with wifi but there is no elevator. Breakfast buffet is good and it is directly across from the train station. Many good restaurants nearby.
