Hotel Villa Nora

great location, excellent service, comfortable rooms

Our stay at Villa Nora hotel in Hvar Town was outstanding. We were given information by the hotel staff before we got there and we were met at the port and helped with our luggage. On route to the hotel we had a running commentary about the town and locations to visit as well as good places to eat. We were provided with a feast for breakfast and were encouraged to take the leftover fruit and food with us, so we didn't need to buy much for lunch. We cannot praise the staff enough for their outstanding kindness,hospitality and best customer services we have experienced for many years. Hvar is quite a magical place and the staff at Villa Nora situated in the old town facilitated that magic with love, care and kindness. Refreshingly honest and knowledgeable about the whole island. We would go there again.

We had an absolute great time at Villa Nora. It all started by receiving an email from the hotel with walking directions from the port two days before our arrival. Once the ferry from Split dropped us off in Hvar at 8:40am, it was wonderful to be able to check in into our room by 9 am. Nataljia was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we arrived, she offered us coffee and juice and gave us an overview of the town showing places at a large map hanging on the reception wall. She made sure to help us carry our bags upstairs. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with many windows. The location cannot be beat. It is a block away from the main square, yet the nights were pretty quiet. Breakfast was delicious and it was obvious that they do cater to every guest needs. Next to us there was a person who couldn't have cow milk, so we overheard Nataljia telling him she was going to request a litter of sheep's milk for the next morning. I am sure you wouldn't get that from a larger, corporate hotel. As we were walking around town, which is gorgeous, but small, we ended up seeing Nataljia at least twice, and every time, she would say hi and ask if we needed any information or help. I would highly recommend this place and would love to stay there again on my next trip to Hvar.

Excellent Service, good location and great breakfast

Hvar is beautiful, and Hotel Villa Nora made our stay that much more memorable. Our room was well appointed with a nice balcony. The location is central to everything in the old town, especially great restaurants. The staff is absolutely incredible and went well out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The included daily breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh items.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was ready and we were allowed to check in early. Natalia made some terrific recommendations for activities. Breakfast was very good.

Greeted by a gracious host, who lugged all of our heavy suitcases up to the room. There were 4 of us women traveling so to stay in one room was awesome. The hotel is a palace that has been remodeled, and they have done a great job with the decor. Breakfast was included and we were so excited to be given a platter of fruit for the first time while traveling. Overall, a great location, beautiful hotel, and the croatian people could not be nicer.

The hotel is wonderful. The location is right in central Hvar. It was a great room. The staff is incredibly helpful. The breakfast in particular was amazing. Lots of food! The hotel is a bit pricey, but it definitely was value for the money.

Fantastic service and great room. Got more than we paid for...will stay here again.
