Super clean, well decorated, great staff, good breakfast,good location

Das Zimmer war geräumig und mit bequemen Betten ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Das Bad war grosszügig und schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und gab gute Tips zum Essen gehen etc. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann gut zu Fuss in das Stadtinnern laufen (allerdings an einer Hauptstrasse entlang). Das Frühstück war sehr fein und bot viel Auswahl. Am Abend gemütlich in der Bar etwas trinken lohnt sich, denn es ist sehr gemütlich und preisgünstig.

No fridge in room, no meal options on site other than breakfast, compact bathroom

Staff were all lovely, breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom were nicely sized, very clean. The common spaces were a nice plus, including the small bar, and the location was very convenient.

Mostly personal preference, but the beds were VERY firm. We noticed this at all of the hotels we stayed in, so perhaps common practice. Same for duvet/no top sheet…either on or off; got overheated every night

Everyone was most welcoming. Room were comfortable. Breakfast was povely as were the staff. I would reccomend the Old Weir Lodge for a lovely stay.

There was nothing to dislike.
