Large room with comfortable seating and secondary glazed windows to reduce any road noise. Breakfast area was roomy with an area available for relaxation only - at any time of day. Staff/Owners were very helpful at all times and were able to accommodate additional requests for earlier breakfasting. Car park was off-road to rear of the property and therefore considered safe and also ample spaces for guest transport. Bathroom/Shower area exceptionally clean and well maintained. Warm welcome and introduction to house and then left alone with key to room. CCTV installed for security - excellent.

Took a long time for hot water to come through to sink and shower although this could possibly be due to size of property and room I was in was distant from hot water tank - OR room had been unused for a day or so. Once hot water arrived at tap/shower, there were no issues. I am very conscious of making noise and interrupting other guests who may be sleeping if I have an early start, so some light maintenance (WD40) of door hinges, wardrobe doors etc to cut down squeaks and creaks intended as a helpful suggestion for the owners but I hasten to add it did not spoil my stay or detract from the overall quality and service the business provides

Good home feel. Very comfortable big bedrooms with everything needed. Great breakfast and very friendly hosts. And it has parking too.
