Laston House

Laston House is in the perfect position to explore Ilfracombe and the surrounding area. Our room was tastefully decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Beautiful building and grounds, helpful and welcoming staff, lovely pub very close by.

The stairs were a bit challenging for my dodgy knees, which I hadn't considered were that bad previously.

I really liked everything. The staff were very friendly and excellent. The breakfast was very good and fresh.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything was great, but the room was a bit cold

We had a wonderful room, with views to the sea and the garden, and a huge amount of space. It was comfortable and everything worked well. The breakfasts were very good. It is quite close to the sea and the coast path, and not far into town and the harbour.

Information might have been a little better. Finding the property - one needs to drive to the bottom of New Barnstaple Road and just before the traffic lights turn right, signposted Laston House, into a long approach track. Google-maps leaves you stranded on the road. Also, the room did not have any information, e.g. wifi code (this was on the wall downstairs) or places to visit.

Good location, the guy we saw was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and well furnished. Great breakfast
