Dunster Castle Hotel

In a perfect location, this small and friendly hotel is faultless in terms of hospitality. Everything is fresh and comfortable. Impressed that breakfast is ordered the previous evening, at an agreed time, as this means that the food is entirely freshly prepared - and it very much shows in the quality and presentation of the very generous spread you receive. The attention to detail by the owners is apparent throughout this exceptionally well cared for and interesting place. The shared sitting areas are very attractive and the owners kindly permit guests to bring their own drinks in addition to providing a good selection.

John and Lisa made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and very comfortable. There was a very good choice of breakfast and presented well. And having it's own parking facilities was an extra bonus.

The room was very clean and cozy and well decorated. The location was very central and the owners made you feel very welcome. The breakfast was amazing

The only downside to the location was being right next to road and the traffic lights. It was very noisy at night, with some large vehicles and motorbikes. This is cannot be helped though and there were ear plugs provided

From arrival until our departure the whole experience of being at this lovely place was amazing. John and Lisa go that extra mile to make your stay special. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed. There's a friendly peaceful atmosphere and the breakfast is super fresh and beautifully presented. In short it's one of the most pleasant places we have stayed and will definitely be returning. The parking is a bonus. I can't recommend this place Good value for money. Cant recommend it highly enough. Absolutely delightful. Thanks

Comfortable and cosy room. Well appointed. Lovely overall ambience of hotel due to interesting eclectic decor and background jazz music etc throughout ground floor ( reception, bar, restaurant) Hosts extremely welcoming and helpful. Assistance with parking greatly appreciated. Evening meal and breakfast were fantastic. A very pleasant and relaxed stay.

What a wonderful find. This hotel far exceeded our expectations with little extras like the carafe of sherry in bedroom! Also wonderful breakfast with 'proper" food, no prepackaged stuff and all served to order. Very comfy bed ,all beautifully presented. We will definitely be recommending this gem of a hotel, and we will be back. Thank you.

We have stayed at this place before and there's nothing they will not do for you and just like before the breakfast was extant just like when we stayed there the last time the room was clean and tidy just like the last time and just like 👍 say thank you it was a pleasure to go back 😊 and look forward to seeing 👀 😊 them again

You have to be very careful when you try to go and get to there car park because you have to drive through a very small space that was built for a hores and cart only
