Dunster Castle Hotel

We spent two days here , and can’t praise it enough , it has the perfect location right at the centre of the Main Street, , friendly, charming and professional owners and staff with beautiful rooms with very beautifully furnished communal areas , with excellent value , don t hesitate to book , you won’t regret it !

The breakfast was excellent ( especially the fresh fruits with yogurt). Booked for Sunday roast in the evening which was sooo good. Nice little extras in the room.

Awkward entrance to car park.

Very nice breakfast, comfortable beds in a nicely appointed room. Several thoughtful extras enhanced our stay.

Vehicle access to the carpark is quite tight for larger cars but there are alternate parking options nearby.

What an absolute treat! We were very stuck locally, and at 7pm the owners did all they could to accommodate us and what a treat it was! Beautiful bedrooms, the finest quality of everything. Breakfast amazing and all those luxury treats such as fresh milk, assorted tea bags of every type etc. They managed to get us a booking at a fabulous local brasserie for dinner even though we were late check ins and it was late. Could write so much more lovely things - the very finest of hospitality in all ways- my 9 year old son summarised the room beautifully ‘I feel like a king’. Thank you so much ♥️

Staff (the owners) very helpful and professional. Breakfast even though it was pre-booked the night before and then beautifully presented and cooked at the time asked for. Great location in relation to castle visit and drive to beach and Moores .

A beautiful hotel. We loved our room. Everyone was really concerned that our stay should be enjoyable. We ewre recommended where to eat in the evening which was excellent. Our breakfast was very good.
