Glenview Guest House

The owner of this lovely guest house was very helpful and nothing was to much to ask for. The breakfast was great and the choice of the cereals etc and fruit was good. While there a young couple and the little daughter was also able to have a vegetarian breakfast. good value for money at the Glenview guest House and a friendly atmosphere. We would go back again.

The owner is very friendly and could not have been more helpful. When a tour was cancelled due to high winds she was able to give me ideas for alternative places to visit. I had a single room that was a generous size and was very quiet at the back of the house apart from lovely birdsong in the morning. A good choice of breakfast and a generous variety of cooked breakfast is offered. The guesthouse is a 10 minute walk from Tesco/M&S for provisions and a further 5 minutes into town. There is also a bus service close by. I think this guesthouse is very good value for money and I will definitely return again!

What a lovely little gem of a place Lovely clean linen and towels Spacious room with en-suite. Yes the decor is a little dated but it’s well maintained and perfectly clean. Breakfast was wonderful and the service by the host was excellent. Thank you We will return soon

Lovely hospitality, comfortable bed & nice breakfast. Good location with on site parking within easy walking distance of town centre. Highly recommended & would definitely stay there again.

I come to Oban each year to ‘escape to the Highlands’. I always stay at Glen view as Morwan is so kind and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable, especially the bed and the breakfast is always hot and cooked to order. It’s only a ten minute walk to the ferry port and station, and five minutes to the car hire place so the location is ideal. I always book well in advance, especially for longer periods as I always prefer a single room en-suite. I would always stay at Glenview and hope to again next year. I always visit Mull, Iona and Glencoe so stay at Glenview as I can do everything from there.
