Excellent cooked breakfast

The room we had needed decorating in my opinion. Didn’t like having to telephone the owner on arrival even though he came straight away.

The location was exceptional. On the doorstep of Elan valley ( not to be missed ). The Eagle pub serves great food & has has a fantastic atmosphere. The breakfast was brilliant. Great ground level garden for the dogs. Warm room. Comfy mattress and bed linen.

The shower was only sufficient for 1 quick shower, after which water ran cold. 1 of us had to wait an hour in order to have a hot shower.

The Horseshoe inn is a great location and near all shops and restaurants. It's excellent value for money and the owner is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended

Excellent location for walking in the area. We used it as a base to do 3 legs of the wye valley walk. Comfortable and pet friendly

Very clean and comfortable, great location. Very helpful host and a great breakfast. Travelling on motorcycles and somewhere safe to park them overnight.

Bathroom needed updating with more powerful shower and better heating.

Friendly staff, dogs made to feel very welcome, room was beautiful, it was a corner room but it was done so well didn't feel small, breakfast was good, and the woman that served us breakfast was so friendly and nice.

Nowhere to put dog poo bags, and no safe place to let dogs have a run on the property.

Lovely stay in a very lovely room, Paul was an excellent host, the room was just what we needed and the breakfast set us up for the day, definitely recommend
