The hotel is in a very good location — close to the centre, yet still very quiet. Check-in was extremely easy. The design is very charming and authentic, and it really adds to the overall impression; you genuinely feel as though you have stepped 100 years back in time, in the best possible way. We slept well, and everything was comfortable and clean.

My only complaint concerns the bathroom. My impression is that the shower cabin was installed in a space that had probably once been intended for a medium-sized wardrobe. You literally step straight from the hallway into a square shower space, with no decent place to hang the clothes and towel you bring with you. I generally do not mind shared bathrooms, but this is the most cramped shower room I have ever been in, and probably ever will be.
