Nice friendly staff and lovely food. However, Wifi didn't work in the room so you had to go to the bar. Lighting in the room and the bathroom was so dim that you couldn't see to read or put makeup on. All the lights seemed to be very low wattage. We could hear the TV in the room next door and then kept being woken up by the same person snoring!! That being said we would stay here again, as these were all relatively small irritations.
It was a last minute decision to stay on a sunday night in order to reduce the amount of travelling in one day. Best decision we have made in a long time as the service and friendliness of Drew and the team was exceptional. Great food in wonderful surroundings
Very nice inn. Friendly staff/owners Food and tea was good Regretfully wifi not strong enough in room which caused problems but was able use in bar after 7.30 am
Best bed and breakfast hotel I we have stayed in. Hotel, staff, service, and location were all excellent. And the breakfast is to die for. Will definitely be staying there again if we are in the area.
What a lovely place, friendly staff, great food, fantastic beer, clean & comfortable rooms to a high standard, good beer garden with covered heated smoking / outside seating area, plenty of parking, camp site to rear if you prefer & a alround lovely picturesque traditional country inn
This was our second visit and definitely will not be our last Have recommended to friends some who are visiting soon
The hotel was pleasant enough and in a nice location, for the price paid though it was not good value. The room was good but being on the ground floor meant leaving windows open was a security option, this made the room quite hot. The restaurant was pleasant but the food quite bland for the price, also expensive at £22 for a 10oz steak. Would I recommend this, yes its fine but as stated quite expensive for the room and restaurant.
Excellent accommodation with great food and an on site microbrewery. Fantastic !
The pub is situated in a rather quaint village and fronts for a number of enterprises, least of all a microbrewery, producing very good beers! It's a restaurant with good food at Bistro prices, a good atmosphere with camp and caravan park in the rear sloping fields; plus of course accommodation attached to the main building. Room 6 opens to the beer garden, but is very well fitted and extremely comfortable. Will definitely seek it out next time I'm down that way.
