Location - close to the Clarendon Street tram and MSAC (great outdoor pool) The Clarendon Street tram goes right into the CBD. We had a lovely meal at the Emerald Hotel (very close by). The South Melbourne markets are about a 15-minute walk away. The room was great for the price - being able to open the window a plus. We could leave our luggage at the property before and after check-in. The lift.

The lighting in the room and bathroom was poor. Even with the overhead light on it wasn't possible to read.
