"Fantastic Location"

8.0

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of several sites of the city. The rooms are a little small (a junior suite is smaller than a standard hotel room in the US) but comfortable. Everything was clean and the restaurant serves good food though a limited menu. One thing to note is that the published room rates on the hotel's own website are lower than you'll find on a travel site (I paid almost 50% higher through Expedia) ... Definitely I would stay at this hotel again if I return to Odesa.

"My favorite hotel experience"

10.0

This hotel is excellent. Airport transfer, location, and comfort were all better than expected. I loved breakfast every morning in the cafe overlooking rooftops and the active harbor. I had a dinner and lunch there too, which did not disappoint. Finally, the staff was great. They were friendly and professional. They made my feel welcomed and special. It is in an ally, which often has armed guards for money transfer, but they never made me feel nervous. It is a quick walk to the Pot'yomkin Stairs. Laundrey services are reluable and inexpensive by western standards. All in all, my favorite hotel experience.

"Exceptional"

10.0

I had stayed here before so had no hesitation in booking this hotel again. It is clean, has good, English speaking staff and is in an excellent location. The only thing I could find against it was that the bed was a little hard but this seems to be common to many hotels in Ukraine. I booked a standard double room for 1 person but would suggest upgrading if there are two of you. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

"Excellent Value"

8.0

I needed a hotel for one night before travelling to Odessa Airport early the next morning so I was not looking for an expensive stay. I decided to try Ekaterina II and was not disappointed with the value of this small hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and the receptionist and staff spoke good English and were very helpful. I ordered my own taxi so do not know their charges for the same service. However, on comparison, the fee I paid for my night's stay here was the same as I was charged for a taxi to the airport from a bigger 4 star hotel some years back. Top value and a pleasant stay.

"Absolute joy staying here."

10.0

I had a fantastic stay here albeit for one night. The service was exceptional and the room was immaculate. The receptionist go above and beyond their call of duty to help arrange trains, things to do etc. My phone charger broke inadvertently broke by accident but the receptionist was quick to lend me one and show me where I was able to get a replacement.

"Weird City, Decent Stay!"

6.0

Odessa is a strange, seedy city. First of all, avoid taxis at all costs, unless you are referred by one by the hotels. Second, there's 2 Ekaterina hotels, so ensure when you try navigating into Odessa, choose the one at the end of Katerynys'ka Street - Catherine II Monument. It'd help if you write this down (Материал из Википедии — свободной энциклопедии) in case people have no clue where you're trying to go. At the hotel, you have to go around the back courtyard and indoors, up the elevator to the 4th floor. It's a strange setup, but at least you're not humping your luggage x-amount of stair flights like other hotels. There, you're greeted by an excellent staff. They speak good English and go out of their way to help you with every question you possibly have. They are GREAT for tourists. My room was pretty nice. I'd suggest leaving your card at the lobby desk in the event you run into trouble out in town. So just grab their business card in case you want a REAL taxi to bring you back. Worth the money and conveniently located near many restaurants & bars.

"Great place to stay - Treated very well"

10.0

I could not have been happier with my stay at this hotel. I didn't know where to stay so decided on this hotel and was very happy with that decision. The people working at the hotel made the stay an amazing place. Kind, Friendly and courteous. I would say that the only things that was a little different about the Hotel is that the entry door is off of the street in the back of the building and is not Easy to see the entrance. It also needs some work. But even given this small thing it was an amazing hotel.
