Overlooking main square. Lots of bars close by. Property very quiet as we were the only guests.

Good location

It was like a ghost hotel.. probably just the season hasn’t started yet

Great location on the village square, spacious room, comfortable beds, and friendly helpful staff. We needed to stay in Montejaque specifically so it fit the bill.

The room was cold and a bit damp when we arrived, and it’s quite basic. Breakfast isn’t included so it seemed a little pricey for off season, compared to others we stayed in with better facilities (eg comfortable places to sit, kettle in the room etc)

Nice room, overlooking the square. The hotel had confirmed my desired check-in time, but was locked up and deserted when i arrived. I messaged, then called and someone came promptly to let me in. I was the only guest and there were no staff. The hotel was obviously closed for the winter, but I am really grateful that they let me stay - without them I would have not been able to stay in the town (and would have struggled to complete my walk on the GR7 to Ronda).

I was given keys to a room and the front door. When I tried them in the front door, it didn't open. Luckily I tried before exiting for dinner! I managed to find a key that worked behind the counter and all was well. The price was 50% greater than any other room on my 2 week trip, but the room was no better than any other. No shower curtain, no hairdryer.
