Bathroom too small and shower not as hot as we would want Parking - although owners do have permits for guest use for a nearby car park

Great location right on the seafront. Excellent hosts and a quiet pleasant place to stay.

The bathroom is very small and little things like no extractor fan (that works).

The location is perfect. The room was lovely the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty. Very friendly and helpful.

Possibly replacing the cups and glasses used in the room and adding additional toilet roll when staying for more the one night during the daily room service.

"A nice place let down by false pictures and poor heating and water."

Location, staff, breakfast ,ambience

Pictures of rooms did not match the room we were given in size or decor. No heating on arrival, shower pressure low and water either too hot or cold, nothing in between, and fluctuated from hot to cold, quite dangerous.

This booking has been absolutely brilliant. Everything about The Angove is excellent. Simon and Vanessa has done a superb job. The house has been sympathetically renovated with a mixture of old and new. From the moment you walk through the front door there is this welcoming ambience. Everything is clean, the room we stayed in had a beautiful sea view. We cannot recommend The Angove enough. What a treat!! Thank you to the owners.

"Super Stay"

The warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. Fantastic location and only a 5 minute walk from the railway station. Comfy and cosy room and the small fridge a real bonus. The location right on the seafront cannot be beaten. Breakfast was really excellent.

I should have booked a longer stay.
