Quiet location and nice staff. The evening meal was very good. Very good private car park.

We were expecting something a little better based on what we had read. The room was OK, but not very well laid out as it was supposedly a family room with 2 double beds and access to the principle bed was a bit restrictive. If the TV was on a wall bracket rather than a shelf would have helped. The location of the wardrobe didn't help either.

We had a long journey home so booked into here to break up the journey.Its quite remote but we liked that, very peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful.Very friendly reception from the owner and the gentleman on the bar.we didn't feel rushed and settled into our room for the night before going downstairs to pay and we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine and my partner loved his pint.We slept really well, refreshed for our next journey home.We we pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, cereal, toast marmalade or jam, orange juice and a very good coffee.Would definitely stay again if traveling that way again, thanks for a perfect evening and start to our day.

Door would not shut on bathroom. Seemed expensive for the accommodation
