The indoor pool is open daily from 07:00 to 21:30. We are happy to turn on the sauna during this time on request. On Wednesdays from 12:00 there is a women's sauna. The use of the sauna and swimming pool and our other leisure activities are included in the room rate. Please note that the economy room category is located in the guest house, 328 feet away from the main building. Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the main building (hotel). As visitors to the bi-annual Pferdestarke event, we have stayed at Hotel Zur Burg Sternberg every 2 years since approximately 2010. The buffet style breakfasts and evening meals are delicious. The location is quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and, as our German isn't brilliant, it was good that some staff spoke excellent English. Special mention to Stella and Stephanie.

Unfortunately, our shower tray had a leak so water seeped along the floor, so that we had to mop up the water each day. The extractor fan in the shower room didn't work. Surprised to find "Happy Easter" and bunny ornaments still displayed on the window sill of our room.

Das doppelstöckige Zimmer, das gut beheizte Hallenbad und vor allem das außergewöhnlich nette Personal. Auch das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt!

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel war wirklich super. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das gesamte Personal – alle waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl wir nur Frühstück gebucht hatten, wurden wir direkt auf das Abendessen hingewiesen. Das Buffet war großartig und die Auswahl an Speisen wirklich hervorragend. Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Betten sehr bequem, und auch die zusätzlichen Angebote im Hotel haben uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Wir freuen uns schon darauf, in zwei Jahren zum nächsten PferdeStark wieder hier übernachten zu dürfen. Ganz klare Empfehlung!
