Please note that when booking a rate where payment is due before arrival, New Aljubarrota Guest House will provide a link from UNICRE. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the rooms. Noncompliance will result in a penalty charge of EUR 50. Please note that late check-in after 22:30 until 01:00 has an additional fee of EUR 25. After 17:00 it is mandatory to inform the hour of arrival so that a staff member will be at the guest house to perform the check-in. Please note that all reservations of 4 and more rooms will be charged 25% of the total amount. This amount is not refundable even in case of cancellation. Please note that this property is located on the 4th floor of a building with no elevator. Due to Covid, luggage storage is temporarily unavailable.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Dirty, noisy and unpleasant smell"

I was very disappointed with this hotel stay. The room was dirty, had a strong unpleasant smell, and clearly was not cleaned properly before arrival. There was mold growing on the walls, which is unacceptable and potentially dangerous to guests’ health. For the price we paid, the overall condition and level of comfort were far below standard. Advertising rooms in this condition feels dishonest and misleading. This hotel is extremely overpriced for what it offers. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Location

Musty smell of old furniture. Entire house was a maze to maneuver. Room floor was slanting. Very cluttered room. No elevator so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs with our suitcases. No baggage service.

Only doubt is the main door couldn’t be shut and others guessed keeping slammed and bumped to close.
