Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia

The staff are friendly and tried their best to make sure everything was ok for our stay. Sadly I think during high season they will struggle to cope as odd things were missed during our stay and the hotel wasn’t at full capacity.

We didn’t like “the village” area that the Conrad is attached to. It feels like a throw back to bad package holidays. Think plastic chairs and tables around a “village square” with football showing on a big screen. Definitely not a 5 star experience. The rooms had no soft touches and felt cell like in an old block of flats (we had suites 5024 and 5023). The room standard was definitely 3-4 star at best. They had no hanging space, we constantly had to ask for tea making to be replenished and the noise level kept us awake from the dogs barking straight behind the hotel to the echo of the corridor, again due to no furnishings to soften the noise.

Excellent services, very pleasant and nice staff!!! Wish the weather would better during our stay!!! Overall, great impressions!

This is a beautiful hotel located right by the beach. However, be aware that there are several complexes, and the one we stayed in was on top of a hill, requiring a descent to reach the beach. This offers stunning views but necessitates a golf cart ride to get to the beach. Additionally, in Sardinia, there is an unusual practice where beach spots are reserved based on different areas, so even though you pay for beach access, you might find yourself in the third or fourth row from the water, even if you have children. Moreover, the outdoor pool is not heated, and in June, Sardinia can be quite cool, making the pools very cold. It would be beneficial for hoteliers to provide heated pools for the comfort of visitors and to enhance the overall experience. The restaurants are more expensive than those on the coast, and the food is acceptable but overpriced, making the price-quality ratio less favorable. Overall, the only general comment is that the hotel is slightly overpriced in terms of value for money.

Everything. Stylish and sophisticated. Was an oasis of calm, great facilities and location with service second to none. Staff were amazing, everyone without exception was so welcoming, kind and attentive. The food was fantastic. From the rich breakfast buffet with the best omelettes you’ll taste to creative dinner dishes from a clearly very talented local chef. Their take on lemon meringue was just one of the many dishes to die for. The private beaches were also idyllic, with a very convenient shuttle service always available from the hotel in case you don’t want the short walk.

Nothing. The place is fantastic.

Staff, all of them are wonderful. We mention Marco, Marco number 2, and Martina at the reception because they took care of us, but everyone was kind! We had a free room upgrade: a very nice touch as gift for my husband anniversary, as well a nice Franciacorta in the room the last day! Amazing SPA run by Giulia, the wellness centre, highly recommended the massages of Manuela! Terrazza restaurant with top professional Roberto leading a very attentive staff.

Tea bags and coffee quality at breakfast, while they were very good in the room. It's a real pity, because these details could make the difference.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Conrad Hotel in Sardinia, and I wanted to share our experience. Firstly, the hotel's location is nothing short of stunning. The beaches are beautiful, with crystal clear waters and just the right size of waves to enjoy. It was a true paradise for my wife, young daughter, and me. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a junior suite to a regular suite, which made our stay even more comfortable. The additional space and luxurious amenities in the suite added to the overall experience. However, I would like to provide some constructive feedback, which I hope will be taken in the spirit of helping to improve future guests' experiences. We noticed that the water drainage in both the sink and shower was not optimal, which might need some attention. Also, we found that the lights along the footpath to the hotel were often not turned on at night. This was a minor inconvenience, but improving it could enhance the safety and accessibility for guests. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and location, yet I was surprised that there wasn't much variety of the rightly famous and excellent local cheese on offer. To conclude, our stay at the Conrad was memorable and enjoyable. The few issues we encountered were minor and did not significantly detract from our overall positive experience. We appreciate the hospitality and look forward to possibly staying with you again in the future.
