Imani Country House

Amazing property in the Alentejo! Really special stay in a beautiful location, easy drive to Evora. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway, this is it.

All was wonderful! Be advised that you are in a remote location so plan accordingly (but still only 20 minutes to Evora!).

Everything was absolutely perfect. This is the one, look no further! Unbelievably gorgeous, comfortable, delicious, etc. I could go on and on.

The property is beautiful and spacious. We were told to pick any oranges we wanted from the trees, which was wonderful. It was private, and the room was comfortable. Would love to return in summer to take full advantage of the amenities (outdoor pools).

The property is gated, with minimal signage, so we weren't sure we were in the right place. We had to phone to be let in on arrival. (Afterwards we were given a gate fob to come and go as we pleased.)

A lovely unique hotel with delightful service. We were staying there during the blackout and the staff put together food and brought in to all the rooms along with candles and battery lamps. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable and kept us updated on the power outage. Their kindness was very much appreciated. Would stay there again and again.

The living room where the kids were sleeping had small cockroach spread all around and the room was quite cold so the children had to bring the beds onto our room so they could sleep. After mentioning this to the staff they looked amazed and asked us to take photos so they could see what we were talking about, instead of placing us in one of the 4 empty rooms and cleaning this one properly. In the end nothing was done and we felt it was rather expensive for this outcome, which in truth did spoil our experience.

This is a unique place. If you need to get away from everything and get a clear head, this is the place to go. You are surrounded by orange trees and flowers. There are two pools on the property. The dinner is wonderful and the waiter is very knowledgeable. We will never forget this place.

Located in the countryside with lots of orange trees and other citrus. Very peaceful and quiet. Wonderful breakfast. The hosts were very gracious and helpful.
