This place is unique. Restored and run with love and curiosity- the staff is excellent and emanate the same.

Lovely hotel in serene Portuguese countryside. Beautiful building. Very calm atmosphere.

It s an immaculate place with a lovely charm to it. With two beautiful pool and plenty of space for my kids to roam around. Staff are attentive and responsive. Beds are good.

Nothing really. The water heater pump broke towards the end of our trip but there s nothing much they can do. Staff was very apologetic and done everything they can. Since it was our last day, the kids were ok not to have a hot bath but I am not sure if this happened start of the trip how this would be since the weather is 19-24 and water is generally quite cold still.

Its a beautiful property, with amazing gardens and serene atmosphere. Also dinner was great and our waiter Nuno was fantastic.

Bed was a little too hard.

The rural location with birdsong, butterflies and wildflowers all around. The rooms are ‘rustic chic’ with Clarins amenities. They are lovely and cool in the heat. Expresso coffee is provided as well as bottled water and a fridge with a mini-bar selection to choose from. The staff were very helpful and it was possible to get food from the snack menu during the day, or eat in the restaurant in the evening. The food was delicious (& portions huge) but selection was fairly limited, due to the small size of the property (7 rooms in total).

The road to the property is a rural track ( 1.2 km) & is very bumpy. The drive to Evora takes about 25 minutes. Due to the distance (& the track) we felt that we had to eat at the property rather than driving in to Evora to find a restaurant. If you want a more central location, this spot is not for you (although it is beautiful and peaceful).

It’s a great place to visit and enjoy a couple of days, but it’s missing the THAT soul that we expect.

Portugal and it's people are gentle and kind. We have visited many times and love it north to south. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy dirt road is a real gem. Only 7 rooms - ours even had a wood burning stove (yes it did). More oranges than you could eat in a lifetime and so quiet at night you can hear them grow. This location is worthy of your time and is a great value if slow and easy is your mission. Go with the flow here - take a walk - eat an orange - meet a burro - say hello to your partner. We did enjoy ourselves...
