Lovely holiday. We had 2 rooms for myself ,2 daughters and 1 granddaughter. The rooms and balcony were great. The staff were very helpful. We had room only, but the food in the bar was great. Would defiantly stay there again.

We cannot understand the negative reviews, it’s not a 5* hotel but surely you know that when you book it. The prices are certainly not 5* and that’s what initially attracted us! Unfortunately, I think a lot of people who come to Benidorm don’t want to experience Spain at all, but want a little corner of England just with the temperatures and beaches of Spain. Most guests are Spanish, how wonderful to see all the kids playing together and the grandparents having a dance to Spanish music in the evenings. No loutish drunk behaviour by the pool, just lots of family fun and laughter. Yes, most guests ARE Spanish, but we are in Spain! Most of the food is Spanish, and absolutely delicious! For breakfast this morning I had churros with chocolate sauce, croissants, fresh baked bread with jams and butter, boiled eggs, yoghurts, cereal and fresh fruit. The bacon is not what I’m used to but I still had a delicious breakfast with all fresh ingredients! No it’s not a full English breakfast, but we are in Spain! For evening meals there is always a soup, several types of fresh bread, a fantastic salad bar with seafood salads, Russian potato salad, olives, pickles and fresh bog standard salad ingredients. For main courses there are always two types of fish, fresh vegetables, a pork option and a more kid-friendly option such as kebabs, spaghetti bolognaise, pizza etc (and there are always fries). The desserts are typically cheesecake, crème caramel, profiteroles, jelly and fresh cream filled Swiss roll. In addition to this there are always yoghurts and ice creams as well as fresh fruit. The trays are regularly topped up and plentiful. No it’s not a British menu, but we are in Spain! The hotel is no more than 10 minutes from the strip and the old town. The rooms are basic but spotless, and our bed is made each day and the towels replaced. The staff are lovely, not all can speak fantastic English but all of them try and smile as we pass. Spanish speaking staff? Don’t forget, we are in Spain!! If you like Spanish people and Spanish food then stay in Hotel Joya and you’ll have a fantastic time. If you don’t like these things then maybe don’t come to Spain….. If the hotel manager is reading this, we are in room 114, we are here until Saturday and we LOVE your hotel ❤️.

I arrived yesterday 1/9/2025 and can not fault this hotel or the staff . We were greeted by Caesar on the front desk and he was helpful , friendly and welcoming . A real gentleman. There was nothing wrong with the breakfast selection . I thought it was great value for money . My room Is perfect with everything I need . Basic products , towels , toilet rolls not soap but I'm happy to buy this . Also , just met the housekeeper who was so friendly and lovely . I don't know why this hotel has got negative reviews . I've stayed in 5 stars hotel before and to be honest this hotel is brilliant . Thank you .

!!! Don’t bother booking !! beds uncomfy air con doesn’t work no fridge in the room very dated staff are miserable food is awful and not much choice of food very limited. Staff don’t speak English took 20 mins to change a tray of beans. Tv size of a stamp , can’t get a sunbed even when we go down early. Worse hotel I have ever stayed in!

Trato en recepcion fatal!!!En el bar la tambien!!!Habitacion con sabanas que tenian pelos!!El aseo no estaba limpio!!un desatre!!!piden un monton de dinero y el servicio da penaa!!!!!No ire nunca mas alii!!!

Buena ubicación y cómoda su alojamiento y atención lo volvería a reservar Gracias

Il balconcino esterno alla camera molto carino e ampio. E la piscina giù offerta dalla struttura pulita e accogliente. La sera c'era un signore che veniva a cantare come piano bar

I wasn't overwhelmed but it was good value for what I paid. Some of the staff were a bit grumpy at times and breakfast was very limited. You don't stand a chance getting a sunbed in peak season near pool but air con was brilliant, room comfortable and it was clean. On the days I was there the cafe/bar only served pizza as food. I can understand why they don't have fridges in room as it would deprive the cafe/bar of business but they need to expand their menu
