Auberge La Grande Maison

I loved my stay and will definately go back. Beautiful auberge with an antique feel. Close to all the restaurants and cute boutiques. On the same street actually. Access to the spa which was nicer than what I expected and a nice breakfast included in a cute restaurant like room. Employees offer great service, always smiling and in a good mood. Cute bedroom.

Wonderful and beautiful house. Receptionist took care of her every need from providing us with plastic wine glasses for the rest of our road trip to letting us have a late check out so my wife could go jogging. Highly recommended. And the breakfast room and breakfast itself we’re great

The rooms are all different so make sure call before your stay so there are no surprises. We switched our room but could only get it for one of the two nights which we found out after we moved all of our things and were very disappointed as we were looking forward to this destination. On the positive side breakfast was great and the location excellent. One front desk clerk in particular ( Mishka ) was outstanding and very helpful, she made the best of a disappointing situation for us.

Grand old house turned in to a hotel, just beautiful. Comfortable room, lovely spa, great breakfast.

There is a spa in the hotel and unfortunately the chlorine smell is rather pervasive.

It was a charming, rustic old style hotel. We would stay again. There was a clerical error in our booking but the staff was able to still accommodate us and compensate us without our requesting it. Given it was a very busy weekend we were very happy with all that was done to mitigate the issue.

Good location near everything, but the room was dated. It must be an old building..sagging noisey floors where we were located on the first floor.

Enjoyed our stsy very much. Comfortable room, good breakfaxt, stsff was friendly and Inn is located walking distance to shops and restaurants.

We were in the area to go spring skiing at Le Massif. The skiing was excellent. Baie St Paul is a lovely little town with a thousand art galleries and lots of nice restaurants and pubs. Unfortunately most weren’t open because it was off season. La Grande Maison is centrally located in the old part of town. It’s old and funky in a nice way. Breakfast was excellent and the Spa is amazing with two large hottubs with waterfalls a sauna and a cold waterfall if you’re into that. The staff are friendly and helpful. The only negative was the shower in our room took at least 10 minutes to run warm, wasting water.

Spa is fantastic - hot tubs, cold splash and sauna... and I was able to schedule a massage for right after I finished my 2nd day of skiing at nearby Le Massif, an incredible ski resort. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful. Totally worth the price, and I will definitely stay again when I come to Le Massif to ski.
