The location and cleanliness was great

The owners were very rude. Wanted to charge $10 per hour for early check in. The day of checkout they banged on the door waking me amd my 3 kids up asking if we was leaving at checkout time or paying $10 per hour to stay later. I said we will be out at checkout. We got up started packing our things and 15 minutes before checkout time they banged on the door and said "15 minutes till you gotta be out!" I said yes I am aware and closed the door. As we were grabbing out last bags I opened the door at exactly 11:00 to the guy telling me we needed to get out NOW that it was time to leave! My goodness we were leaving! They did NOT have to be so rude! Its an old tiny motel its not like there was a line of people just waiting to take our room!! For the amount of money I spent I could have stayed in a bigger, nicer hotel and not been hounded about leaving! Very rude to wake up your guests and keep banging on the door. We will NEVER stay there again and I have told all of our WKU friends not to either!

I loved the room and the comfort of feeling like I was at home instead of a sterile boring motel/hotel. The original artwork in the room, original bathroom tiling that has been maintained and the colorful atmosphere and bed linens. There’s also a gazebo and shelter sitting area in a nice grass area. I would like to get to stay again.

The rooms are clean and cozy. They have an updated retro feel and it is convenient being able to park in front of the room.

The bed was way too soft and the air conditioner was loud. Also the free breakfast was minimal.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

How did this motel get the rating it hasI have no idea. It was clean, very small, musty smelling bed was as hard as the floor. Seriously the mattress was hard as cement. The so called breakfast was a complete joke. What was out was 2 generic granola bars, 2 tiny muffins, the cheapest of oatmeal, Sunny D. When I looked at pictures this is NOT what was in them. The towels were tattered, they man who LIVES (as he told us) next door to where we were had his tv on loud til 3am. thin walls, no sleep. NO I absolutely would not stay here again and would never recommend. Pay the extra and stay at a better place.
